minecraft has always been one of my favorite games. i recently had to go to the official website and quickly felt like i was on the wrong website. the current design feels unrelated to the video game.

i decided to redesign the home page and also create a log in page, taking elements from the video game and include them in the website to better represent the game.

my main inspiration for the redesigned pages were minecraft “chunks”, which are randomly generated 16 x 16 block sections that make up a world.
